Citizens can also check the road conditions, connect to WiFi, and search for city information on the touch screen of the street lamp base. Some street lamp poles also have functions such as car charging lines, emergency phone charging, and one click help, which are very convenient. The person in charge of Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau told reporters that after the integration, the road poles on Tianhe South Second Road have been reduced from 52 poles to 35 poles, beautifying the city's appearance.
The reporter found that two light poles were equipped with DC Charging station for electric vehicles. Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau has applied independent innovation technology to integrate high-power DC Charging station with street lamp post, with 60 kW charging power and 80% charging capacity in 0.5 hour, which is fast and practical. The smart street lamp is also equipped with a secondary anti leakage protection device, comprehensively ensuring the safe and reliable power supply of the street lamp pole facilities.
In the future, a dedicated charging space will be designated for free charging during the charging period. According to reports, this charging space is only for use by charging vehicles. After the charging is completed, the system will automatically send a reminder message to the owner's phone number, reminding them that the charging is complete and they need to drive away within a limited time to avoid occupying the parking space.
